REVEREND PHILIP CRAIG OF GREATER ALLEN A.M.E. CATHEDRAL OF NEW YORK TAPPED AS NEW YORK (USA) REGIONAL CO-COORDINATOR FOR 2010 INTERNATIONAL MEN'S DAY
The International Men’s Day Coordination Committee has announced that REVEREND PHILIP CRAIG of the Greater Allen A.M.E. Cathedral of New York (www.allencathedral.org) has been tapped to serve as the New York (USA) Regional Co-Coordinator for 2010 International Men’s Day. International Men’s Day (www.international-mens-day.com) will be observed worldwide on Friday, 19 November 2010 under the theme, “Our Children ... Our Future.” REVEREND CRAIG, who serves as an Associate Reverend under the leadership of the REVEREND DR. FLOYD H. FLAKE, is the Founding Coordinator of the Greater Allen A.M.E. Cathedral of New York’s “Father Support Ministry” and also plays a leadership role in various ministries at the church. A New York native who was born in Brooklyn and raised in Jamaica, Queens, New York, REVEREND CRAIG holds a Certificate in Ministry and a Master of Divinity degree from the New York Theological Seminary and he received a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Nyack Business College.
REVEREND CRAIG, who can be contacted by e-mail at: phil.craig@live.com will, along with CATHLEEN WILLIAMS, RN, ESQUIRE coordinate the participation of individuals, organizations, institutions, and communities throughout the State of New York in connection with the worldwide observance of 2010 International Men’s Day. International Men’s Day celebrates and honors the sacrifices that Men have made and continue to make to our families, communities, and our society. The theme for 2010 International Men’s Day – “Our Children ... Our Future” celebrates the 48 hour partnership that International Men’s Day shares with Universal Children’s Day, which is celebrated on 20th November 2010 and endorsed by the United Nations.
