To provide for seeds
Soiled in futile fields
We be men of responsibility
Without Ceremonies or Rewards
Even in distances peeking
Fathers of children
Have to keep on reaching
& despite the circumstances
Keep on seeking
Those loving relationships
That reverberate
I care about you deeply,
Because now
Is the time for being
A part of the lives needing –
Fathers
& not suppliers of pain
Promising tomorrow,
Between tired verbals
& tear stained sorrows
That children swallow
Unnecessarily,
As the bio-clock churns
Ever so steadily
In Search of Fatherhood . . .
Striving & Struggling
To provide for seeds
Soiled in fertile fields,

For being.
