by LIFERS, Inc., an inside-out Criminal Justice Reform Think Tank at SCI
Phoenix in Collegeville, the “Middle Neighborhoods At-Risk Youth And Young
Adults Mentoring Program, A Branch Of LIFERS, Inc – Public Safety Initiative
External Affiliations” marks the launch of its twelve (12) week program with a
Mentor Training session on Saturday, 22 February 2020 which will be
administered by Big Brothers Big Sisters’ Mentor Independence Region beginning
at 10:00 A.M. (E.D.T.) at Zion Hill Baptist Church at 5301 Spruce Street in
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The LIFERS, Inc.’s Public Safety Initiative Mentor
Training Program will also be presented to prospective mentors and key
stakeholders attending the Mentor Training sessions. Approved and funded by the

0dfdda1bd3), the gun violence
prevention mentoring program will be administered on Saturdays from 10:00 A.M.
(E.D.T.) through 2:00 P.M. beginning on Saturday, 29 February 2020 and ending
on Saturday, 16 May 2020. Mentees for
the gun violence prevention mentoring initiative will be selected from William
L. Sayre High School which is located at 58th and Walnut Streets in
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
The gun violence
prevention mentoring initiative, which offers a problem-learning based
curriculum and a psychoeducational session that is structured to positively
transform the mindset, decision making,
and behavior of at-risk youths, has
captured the attention of the National Policy Directors of the Presidential
Campaigns for former South Bend, Indiana Mayor The Honorable Peter Paul
Montgomery Buttigieg and United States Senator The Honorable Amy
Klobuchar. On Monday, 17 February 2020,
the Buttigieg Presidential Campaign became the first United States 2020
Presidential Campaign to convene a solutions-based Criminal Justice Reform
conference call with members of LIFERS, Inc. who designed the twelve (12) week
gun violence prevention mentoring initiative which the Buttigieg Presidential
Campaign will monitor.
