Ms. Twala is developing a ten year plan for International Men's Day for Botswana -- a plan she shared with some members of the American International Men's Day team. After review, the American team reached a general consensus that Ms. Twala's 10 Year Plan for International Men's Day should be adopted and developed in the United States.

"As an educator, Mr. Evans brings a very valuable perspective to the USA 2012-2022 International Men's Day Committee. The USA and Botswana 2012-2022 International Men's Day Ten Year Plan is about setting achievable and realistic goals for effectively addressing the key challenges that prevent boys from being given a better start and life and preventing men and boys from living longer, healthier, and longer lives. These key challenges include -- education, physical and mental health, real life options, violence, Fatherhood and positive male role models. The areas of concern which Mr. Evans has identified are in alignment with the key challenges of education and health which the International Men's Day Coordination Committee have identified during the past two years in an effort to move the world's focus to addressing and resolving these challenges," remarked Diane A. Sears, the United States Coordinator for 2013 International Men's Day, member of the International Men's Day Coordination Committee, and Chair of the USA 2012-2022 International Men's Day Ten Year Plan.
