“Parents want what’s best for their children, and THE SELF-ESTEEM TRAP is – finally – the book that delivers. Wise and packed with insight, the book explodes the myths of specialness and self-esteem, replacing them with solid values much more likely to lead to successful children and, even more important, children who turn out to be good people. “
- Jean Twenge, Ph.D.
Please join us for a 30-minute live Blogger Conference Call with psychologist and Jungian analyst Polly Young-Eisendrath, author of THE SELF-ESTEEM TRAP on September 22 at 11:30 AM ET.
Here’s the 4-1-1
The conference call will be hosted by Little, Brown with the Hachette Book Group Online Marketing team members Kelly Leonard and Anna Balasi serving as moderators.
An 800 number will be set up for participating bloggers to call.
The format will be a Q&A style with questions asked by you on the call with Polly.
If you’re interested in participating, please reply to this invitation with 1-2 questions that you would like to ask. Send your questions via e-mail to Anna Balasi of Hachette Book Group USA at: anna.balasi@hbgusa.com or to Kelly Leonard at: kelly.leonard@hbgusa.com.
Anna and Kelly will be selecting the most original questions to be asked live during the call. We will let you know ahead of time if your question has been selected and when it will be your turn to ask Polly your question. (Even if your question is not selected, we hope you will attend the conference call to listen in!)
They will be setting up the order of questions ahead of time to prevent the possibility of call participants from talking over one another.
The list of selected questions, in the order that they will be asked and by whom, will be e-mailed to confirmed participating bloggers prior to the call along with the 800 dial-in number.
Trust us, the call with Polly Young-Eisendrath is going to be a lot more fun than reading the above just was!
We have hosted similar events with other HBG authors including Nicholas Sparks which were a big hit. Take a look and listen: http://jennifersnapshot.blogspot.com/2007/10/interview-with-nicholas-sparks.html
