GENEUVIVE TWALA, BOTSWANA COORDINATOR-2012 INTERNATIONAL MEN'S DAY MAKES AMERICAN RADIO TALK SHOW DEBUT
GABORONE, BOTSWANA (AFRICA) – 25 October 2012 – Thought Leader, humanitarian, and Botswana Coordinator for 2012 International Men’s Day, Ms. GENEUVIVE TWALA, will make her American radio talk show debut on The Dad Show (www.DadShow.com) on Tuesday, 30 October 2012 at 6:00 P.M. (United States Central Standard Time). Ms. TWALA will be interviewed by Mr. Kenneth Thompson, Sr., the host of THE DAD SHOW which airs from 6:00 P.M. (United States Central Time) through 7:00 P.M. (United States Central Time) on KAZI Radio – 88.7FM – in Austin, Texas and also streams live on the Internet on www.KAZIFM.org and www.DadShow.com.
Ms. Twala is the architect of the “2012-2022: International Men’s Day Ten Year Plan.” Under her leadership, the “Men of Tomorrow”: Rites of Passage mentoring program for boys and young adolescent males will be launched in Botswana on Monday, 19 November 2012 – International Men’s Day. The “Men of Tomorrow: Rites of Passage” Mentoring Program was created and launched in the United States on 2011 International Men’s Day by the New Deliverance Evangelistic Church (www.ndec.net) in Richmond, Virginia. The mentoring program’s exportation from the United States to Botswana is the result of collaboration between Ms. Twala and Mrs. Odetta Wright, the Virginia (USA) Coordinator. Ms. Twala is launching a second initiative – a Literary Initiative – on 2012 International Men’s Day.-- in local schools in Gaborone, Botswana which will take the form of a writing competition. Winners of the writing competition will have their work published in a quarterly international Fatherhood and Men’s Journal -- IN SEARCH OF FATHERHOOD® -- which is published in the United States.
